About this Website
The purpose of this website is to give voters information about controversial public issues that the mass media ignores as a rule, but which voters need to know to be informed.
I hate politics! Yet, as a long-time grassroots leader, two-term (8 years) councilwoman including one term as mayor, and having worked for several presidential appointees in Washington, D.C., I’ve learned that being involved in politics at the local, state, and national level, is the only way to influence what our government does and to hold politicians accountable! Therefore, I remain a government-watcher and an activist.
It is the goal of Voice for Voters to highlight significant facts, to debunk spins and slogans of politicians, and to provide summaries of issues, backed by findings and documentation, to help readers be better informed and involved. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
